    Kermit the Camera

    Kermit the Camera

My camera is named Kermit. Yesterday when I was filming with Max, his sister Opal and Mom, Allison, they gave Kermit some googley eyes to match. I might be biased but I think he looks quite handsome. #movie #film

Did you know the first imaginary library was invented in the mid 1500′s?

The “very stately and magnifick” imaginary library invented by Alcofribas Nasier (an anagram of François Rabelais) was called St. Victor, and found in Paris. Some of the imaginary works it contained were: The pomegranite of vice The trevet of good thoughts The hatchpot of hypocrites The bumsquibcracker of apothecaries The cobbled shoe of humility The History of the Hobgoblins The racket of swag waggers The shackles of Religion [Image by "Gustave Doré-L'Enfance de Gargantua”

Did you know that poet Galway Kinnell wrote a poem about imaginary friends when he was in his sixtie

Did you know that poet Galway Kinnell wrote a poem about imaginary friends when he was in his sixtie

In the poem, “Oatmeal,” Kinnell tells how he livens up a lonely breakfast. He invites the famous, but long-dead poet John Keats to share some imaginary conversation over porridge. There must be something about oatmeal that cries out for embellishment. Poet and writer Robert Louis Stevenson made up imaginary countries when eating the very same cereal. Just goes to show that any age is the right age for creative play! #didyouknow
